You are subject to the following terms and conditions when deciding to shop with Far Far Away. We advise you to please read these conditions carefully prior to purchase, as once items have been bought, you are agreeing to abide with these terms.
We reserve the right to reject any order you place with us for any reason. For example, we may reject your order if we know or suspect that you intend to resell some or all of the products specified on your order as a part of a commercial business. You may only place orders via this website for private and domestic purposes.
We expressly prohibit purchases for resale and/or reselling any Far Far Away product as part of any business (including any online business) unless agreed in writing by Far Far Away.
All images & photographs on this website cannot be copied, reproduced or edited in any form without prior approval from Far Far Away.
This contract is governed by the laws of New Zealand.
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST.
We use a variety of courier services to ship our products. For more information about shipping charges and times see our Shipping information page.
All customers will be provided with tracking details, Far Far Away will not be responsible to track items on behalf of customers. All customers must liaise directly with Fastway Couriers or the Specialist Courier.
Please note prices may differ online to in store. Prices online are exclusive to delivery charges. Prices are subject to change without notice.
When we know we have products arriving in the not-too-distant future, we like to let you know and give you the opportunity to pre-order/backorder that product so that you do not miss out when the product arrives. When the product that has been pre-ordered arrives, we always aim to dispatch it to you on the same day. While we put estimated delivery dates for arrival of pre-ordered products on our website, unfortunately these dates can change as delays can occur that are out of our hands for example a delay with Customs clearance, natural disaster.
Sometimes products arrive earlier, and occasionally they arrive later than our original estimated date. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause, but if you are ordering by backorder please do not rely on it being there by a specific date. If you have multiple products on your order, with some backordered products – your package will not be posted to you until all items are in stock. If you would like your in-stock items sent to you immediately, please purchase those items separately in a separate transaction to those on backorder.
While we do our best, we cannot guarantee that the colours shown on the website exactly reproduce the colours of our products. This may depend on the colour reproductions on your computer or mobile device. Information on this website is subject to change without notice.
All trademarks appearing on this website are the property of their respective owners. The use of any of the Far Far Away trademarks is strictly prohibited unless we provide prior written consent.
The inclusion of any hyperlinks to third party websites does not imply Far Far Away’s indorsement or approval of such third parties, their website or their businesses or other activities.
This website or any portion of this website may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose except where necessary for viewing this website on your internet browser, or specifically authorized by law or in writing by Far Far Away.
Any personal information that you submit will be protected by our secure payment gateway server, which uses security technology to protect your online order. This technology encrypts all information including your credit card and all personal information passed from you through our website.
Your credit card purchase may take a few minutes to process to allowing time to confirm you’re billing information with your financial institution. You can pay via Visa or MasterCard through DPS Payment Express.
Refunds and Exchanges
We want you to love our products and enjoy shopping with us. In this section you will find details about how to return or exchange your purchases made online or in store.
Refund and Exchange Policy and Instructions
If you change your mind about the product you have purchased from us we will refund the purchase price or exchange that product (other than gift vouchers or seconds) subject to the following conditions.
- Contact must be made within 3 days of receiving your item
- Item must be returned within 7 days of purchase with the original receipt or other proof of purchase
- You must provide your name and address
- The items must not be stock clearance items or seconds
- The returned item must be unworn, unwashed, or otherwise unused with original tags/labels attached.
- If you request a refund, the purchase price (excluding shipping charges for online) will be refunded to you using the original payment method once we have received the returned item back and confirmed that it meets conditions 1-5 above. You are responsible for any costs associated with returning the item to us
*Shipping costs can only be refunded on faulty items that have been purchased separately. Shipping will not be refunded if there are other items listed on the invoice when a faulty item is returned.
Faulty Items Returns
If an item is faulty then we will meet our legal obligations which may include refunding the purchase or providing a replacement product, *refunding the shipping cost provided the item is returned within 7 days of purchase with proof of purchase. Please contact us within 3 days of receiving your item at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide the following information so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
- You must provide your name and address
- You must provide the date your order was placed
- You must provide a printed copy of the receipt or invoice for the purchased item
- You must provide identification matching the name and shipping address on the packing slip or invoice
- Brief description or photo if the fault is visible of the problem you are experiencing
- Purchases will only be refunded or exchanged for the amount stated on the invoice less any discounts/offers applied
We reserve the right to assess the condition and age of the returned goods prior to offering an exchange, discount, voucher or refund. Please note items are your responsibility until we receive them and we cannot take responsibility for any items lost or damaged in transit.
Like many businesses, we have sales or specials on some or all of our products from time to time. If you have purchased a product from us at full price and we later have that same product on sale or special, we cannot give you a discount for your purchase. The sale price or discount is only available for those products purchased during the period of the sale or special.
Any information we collect in relation to you, is kept strictly secured. Personal details or personal information that you provide to us will not be released, sold, rented to any entities or individuals outside of Far Far Away. We use this information to identify your orders, provide you with our monthly newsletter (if applicable) and to personalise your shopping experience with us; that’s all.
All payments are processed through DPS Payment Express.
