The delivery charge is dependent on where the hire order is going to and the quantity of items ordered. Bulky items that require more man power and the level of difficulty in terms of access to the delivery location may incur a greater charge.  This does not include set up/pack down of the items.  Most orders are charged at $2 per kilometer plus GST return trip from our Headquarters in Milford, North Shore, Auckland with a minimum charge of $50 plus GST.  We deliver on weekdays only, if your event is a weekend event we will deliver on Friday and collect on Monday.

Collection/Drop Back of Hire Items

Collection/drop back of hire items are from Far Far Away's Headquarters in Milford, North Shore, Auckland.  The address will be given once your hire booking fee has been received.  Mutually agreed times will be prearranged at the time of your booking.  Collection/drop back is available Monday - Friday only.


We take great care to ensure your purchases arrive safely and use a variety of courier services to ship our products.

While we do everything we can to ensure your order is delivered in a timely manner, once items have been shipped they become the property and responsibility of the purchaser.  We do not take responsibility for lost or damaged parcels incurred by any person as a result of delay caused by our carrier that we have no control over or by any event which is out of our reasonable control or foresight including but not limited to any delay caused by an incorrect delivery address being provided to us.

Please note we are unable to deliver to P.O Box addresses.

We may occasionally provide special offers and promotions wavering shipping charges in certain circumstances.  We reserve the right to vary, cancel or extend special offers and promotions regarding shipping charges.

Delivery times will vary depending on your location. We endeavour to have orders delivered within 4 working days subject to availability of stock and other considerations.  However some remote or rural locations may take a little longer please allow an additional 3 working days for rural addresses and please note that rural deliveries are not insured.

Please note during peak sale times during the year that processing and delivery times may increase.  If any items in your order are out of stock at the time your order is packed, we will notify you via email and refund you for those items. 

Delivery costs vary, depending on what you have ordered, the delivery address and the particular the size and the weight of the product.

Your order will be picked up from our delivery partner once full payment has been received.  Any specified delivery dates are estimates only and we do not accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. Strikes & natural disasters) or delays which result from supplier delivery delays.
